What happens at a Windhorse Rising Men’s Experience?

A Windhorse Day Experience at Omziel Healing Sanctuary is a focused, one-day immersion designed to reset the body, clear the mind, and reconnect Men to grounded strength and direction.
The day begins with arrival and grounding—light movement, breath, and intention setting to bring everyone fully into the space.
From there, we move into guided breathwork to open the nervous system and prepare the body for challenge.
The ice plunge is held as a water purification ceremony. It is a central ritual. A deliberate crossing, not a test of endurance. The cold strips away distractions, negative energy, and excess, bringing the mind into sharp focus and presence. In the water, clarity emerges, discipline stabilizes, and calm is found under pressure. Each man is guided and supported before entering, while in the cold, and through integration after—ensuring the experience is grounding, intentional, and transformative.
Following the cold, we integrate with warmth, snacks, and hydration—simple, nourishing foods to restore the body and stabilize energy. This creates space for reflection rather than rush.
From there, the work turns deeper inward. Guided journaling and reflection help men translate physical experience into insight and direction. Prompts are practical and honest—focused on life, responsibility, purpose, and what needs to shift.
From there other ceremonies will be conducted to seal the deal.
We close in council—a grounded circle for listening, speaking, and witnessing. No fixing. No performing. Just truth and Brotherhood.
Men leave clear, regulated, and re-oriented—reset without overwhelm, strength without armor.
